Tuesday, December 20

The Night Before Christmas will be held atMiss Traill’s House at 321 Russell Street from6pm-8.30pm. The Carillon Show Band will again lead the crowd in stirring renditions of our best-loved Christmas carols. The audience will also be entertained by Christmas performances from local drama students.

Whilethe entertainment will be in the award-winning garden and adjoining horse paddock, The National Trust-owned Miss Traill’s House (built in 1845) will be open to the public with all rooms candlelit and decorated for a traditional Christmas.

For the children, there will be Christmas craft activities, fun games and a visit from Santa with his lolly-filled sack. Festive glow sticks and necklaces will be available for sale.

BYO picnic dinner or purchase a barbecue sausage sizzle or chicken kebab. Christmas cake and wine, beer and soft drinks will also be available for purchase.

The National Trust shop located inside Miss Traill’s House will be open and is stocked with beautiful and unique gifts -great for some very special Christmas shopping.

A Traditional Night Before Christmas is one of the most popular Christmas events held in Bathurst.

Bring the family and friends along for an evening based on simple, old-fashioned family fun and start celebrating the holiday season.
