The proud mother took to social media to share several photos of her 8-month-old daughter meeting Santa Claus for the first time at Macy’s Department store. After sharing a photo of Luna on her own with Santa, Teigen couldn’t help provide the internet with some of her renowned banter, this time poking fun at her husband John Legend by sharing a “family photo” sitting next to Luna and a friend holding a cutout paper of John Legend’s face. “When your husband is in Paris but you gotta get your Santa on,” the model explained.

And her joke didn’t go unnoticed with Legend merely replying “savage” on Twitter. “@johnlegend we miss you!!!” Teigen then wrote.  my heart!! @Macys has the sweetest Santa ever pic.twitter南京夜网/zO5C4f5akO— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) December 14, 2016

While Legend is currently out of town, he definitely made his plans to be home for Luna’s Christmas known in several press interviews. “Christmas with Luna is going to be really exciting,” the 37-year-old singer told Good Morning America. “It’s the first time at our new house, we’ve never had our own Christmas at home. We usually travel somewhere, go to a family member’s house and we go on vacation.”

He added: “This is our first time actually having a tree at home, in our new place. And we have a new baby. It’s pretty exciting.”   I love the holidays A photo posted by chrissy teigen (@chrissyteigen) on Dec 14, 2016 at 1:09pm PST

During his press tour in France, Legend has also taken the time to address his disappointment in long-time friend Kanye West meeting President-elect Donald Trump. Advocating strongly for Hillary Clinton during the presidential campaign, Legend has labelled West’s Twitter explanation on meeting Trump on the grounds of discussing “multicultural issues” a mere “publicity stunt”.

“I’m pretty disappointed with Kanye that he says he would have voted for Trump. I think Trump has been corrosive, his message has been corrosive to the country,” he said.

“I think the things he’s promised to do have been very concerning for a lot of people, and for Kanye to support that message is very disappointing.”

It’s been a big year of events in the world, in which Legend displayed in his latest music video for Love Me Now – conveying the power of love in reuniting people around the world. And love is definitely a theme that the family has continually shown with family snaps on social media, something that will definitely continue into their new year.   “She did such a good job!” “She didn’t even cry!” We only share what we want you to see, my loves.
